![]() ![]() Melissa de la Cruz has a website and so does the Blue Bloods series. The third book in the series really left us hanging. I am liking this series more and more with every book I read in it. Lots of action, but not at the expense of high end clothing or romance, intriguing plot twists, a mad-dash ending, with book 5, Misguided Angel, due for release on October 25, 2010. This book was an excellent addition to the series. Schuyler and Ollie are on the run from the Conclave and the Venators (spelling? I was listening.) Mimi skipped her senior year at Duchesne to sign on with a Venator group, led by Kingsley Martin, whom she is finding increasingly attractive. The Van Alen Legacy picks up one year after Revelations left off. ![]() The cliff-hanger-ish ending demanded that I get book #4, the irritating pauses notwithstanding. The plot surprises and the character development were very good. I blogged that I probably would not be continuing the series back at book #2, Masquerade. The namedropping and branding got to me and the production quality, specifically those horrific pauses that caused me to constantly check to see if my battery had run out drove me up the wall! But then, I was browsing in a local library that has an amazing collection of audio books. ![]()
